Just out of interest (as flipping through this post doesn't say a lot about the police contacting gwen80's HR dept), what is happening here now?

Is gwen80 planning to appeal? Has her company HR dept swept this under the carpet?

I would have though that seeing as she now has some legal representation and the support of her union, it is unlikely that the company will be given the opportunity to ignore it.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

But the police have dropped this? Or cautioned him? Did the man in question not deny this?

TBH I don't know why people almost immediately didn't advise gwen80 to join a union and/or contact an employment solicitor from the outset as well as her HR dept etc. Then at least she would have all bases covered.

I saw an employment solicitor ages ago for a small matter and my first hour was free with extremely useful advice and support, had I intended to instruct them.

I've only just seen this thread, why does Gwen have to appeal? What did she 'lose'?

Disgraceful behaviour by the man concerned and even worse behaviour from some posters on here, just loving those posters who said the OP egged him on or defended the man, he admitted it in his emails, if it wasn't true he'd have said so in the strongest terms. :(

    Happy moneysaving all.

Did he? The ones that were posted were ambiguous & far from an admission.

I think you will find if he did he would be in serious trouble from all fronts.

Yep...Company HR Dept was NOT helpful - hence Gwen having to appeal against them. So Gwen has presumably now put that appeal in against their judgement and is awaiting verdict to see if they will reconsider.

Re not suggesting joining a Union sooner - I presume a lot of us assumed Gwen was already in a Union - until it became clear as time went on that Gwen wasnt. Re the employment solicitor - it wasnt obvious that legal advice was needed until it became clear that he had employed a solicitor to try and help "cover his back" - as he had decided to lie, rather than admit it.

The only attention seeking I can see from this thread comes from you and DvardysShadow who to their credit has deleted their posts and appears to want to get this thread back on track to the initial concerns of the OP.

Come on now, enough of your attention seeking and trying to boost your self esteemed ego which is also apparent on other threads and back off now, there's a good un..
I found this comment against me totally unwarranted - anyway, on the strength of it, I have taken all of my posts out of this thread.

Or, to help defend himself against false accusations?

You (and I) have no idea whether "gwen80's" accusations are wholly true, wholly false or something in-between.

It would be a very strange first post if the accusations weren't true. I have supported gwen from the start and continue to support her now.

Just popped in to see if we have an update from Gwen, but it seems not.

    Gwen, any news?
