Found a piece of plastic in my food in nandos!!!!!

I ordered a plate of Liver & Portugese roll today in nandos, milton keynes. And found a piece of plastic while I had it!! I called the waitress n showed her. She inturn informed her manager who came and apologized. She was ready to give me another plate of Liver & Portugese roll and also offered a voucher for the same which I can use it till Feb '11.

But is that what I should've accepted?? Or wat should I do if I face the same situation again???

Happend to me in KFC, I got my £5 back for the meal i was happy.

Not sure what your trying to get from nandos they have given you compensation, your not going to get anymore money from them.

Just to nip this is the bud you're not going to get a hundred thousand pounds in compensation.

A lot of people on this forum are very much against compensation for this type of thing. Personally I feel that some compensation should be paid as it encourages restaurants etc. to be more hygenic in future.

I would at least expect the meal to be free.

They replaced the faulty article and gave you compo to the same value to ensure your return, and apologised! I think that's pretty spot on.

Not at all, having to pay some compensation when mistakes are made can save Billions of pounds.

So you are pushing for ambulance chasers where there is no injury or loss as in such a case as this.

I can't see how his saves the contry billions.
