was this when you hit the submit button? the charge happens and appears on your bank statement as an extra £1.25...no mention of it before.

I have checked my statement (4 times) for the last months transactions and only the 48p was taken by priceminister not any £1.25 charge, nothing on my statement was £1.25.:A0 -
Again, for the short sighted. I wanted it cheap, so cheap is what you got.

This just happened to me today. Bought a dvd off them the other day and just checked my account and have a 1.25 charge. I'm quite disgusted, there was no indication they would charge a fee.
This is probably a Bank Charge for a foreign transaction and nothing to do with the site at all.
And it clearly states on the website when you look at the details - "Shipping country" - so you know where the goods are coming from...“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
I am with Natwest and had the same problem on a purchase made a few days ago. I e-mailed their Customer Service and they credited my account with a voucher to compensate.
This has happened to me.I thought that at first too, but the voucher they gave me was for a generous £5 which would offset any charge potentially incurred on a future purchase. In their email they also said that the problem was down to the bank, not themselves. Presumably, being a French company doesn't mean that they don't have a UK account for transactions.
Used Natwest and got charged £1.25 extra, they sent me a voucher, and when I used that they charged me another £1.25!
I'm furious, and have fired off am email to Priceminister to complain.
Has anyone contacted Natwest and been refunded?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
It sounds like a fee the bank charges, they would have no interest in refunding.
I had it once with a different international company when using a halifax debit card.0
