    Ah, well, that's not me at all. Uniquely (or so I'd like to believe ;)) I try to learn from other people's mistakes. Let them have the bad times... :eek:

    However made a few real humdingers of my own, this time around, and rather shook my faith in my own judgement rather badly.

    I'll probably get over it - but it will take time.

    My debt has been mainly through being a student studying for knowledge/qualifications I don't need and don't use. I've always been very sensible in relation to consumer items.

    Now I want another digital camera - yes, the third...

    I want to try flying.

    I want to try parachuting.

    I want to try scuba diving.

    You will get over it, and yes, it may take some time, but try not to be so hard on yourself. Accept that you're human, and therefore quite capable of cocking-up up royally, just like the rest of us. But being human also brings with it a certain amount of bouncebackability (I know, it's a made up word, but I didn't make it up ;)), and you will eventually feel more like yourself again.

    • Flat stomach

    Bad points:
    • Empty trousers.
