CP Plus - I'm missing your letters......

  • I'm guessing this is the last time I will hear from them? I was looking forward to putting my not-quite-finalised-yet skills to practice in court!:rotfl:
Well you can always get one by opc but they always lose in court anyway.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Why not take the PPC for court for the anguish they have caused you with their oh sooo scary letters? Surely you have lost sleep over what they have threatened to do to you!
Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!
  • we've got a collection box at work now - literally hundreds and hundreds of plastic sticky packets, tickets, letters from DRPL, Trethowans etc.

Legendary! :T So all your workmates & their families know about this scam industry then!

Of course just watch out for Trethowans occasionally having a punt in Court, so maybe check out their letters by reading a bit of them for 20 seconds before filing them with the rest!

  • A few months ago a vehicle for which I am the registered keeper stopped for a bit over 2 hours in a MOTO motorway service area. Usual story, long day, 350 mile overnight drive to the next client etc.

The driver slept right through the alarm set for one hour.

A few days later I got a letter from those delightful people at CP Plus suggesting that I was some sort of criminal and all could be made well if I sent them lots of money - how thoughtful.

I was just about to take them up on their kind offer to clense my soul for a mere £50 when I happened upon this forum. It turns out I'm not a criminal after all. Apparently being the registered keeper of a vehicle which stays for a few minutes beyond 2 hours in an empty carpark at 3am isn't realy a crime!!!

So I'm now the proud owner of a total of 3 letters from my new 'friends' at CP Plus. Each letter asks for more money that the last, they seem convinced that I'm a real sinner, and each spells out dire consequences should I fail to let them redeem my soul.

The last one seemed to suggest they were going to pass my case on to a high authority (Bishop 'Knuckles McGraw'?) if I didn't put £120 in their collection plate.

Needless to say I'm confident I don't need saving by CP Plus or any of their brethren. It's been a few weeks since this last letter. Perhaps they have given up on me as a 'lost soul'?.

I hope they can forgive me. I've not responded to any of their letters. Perhaps they are 'saving' easier souls than mine?? I've taken a vow of silence with regard to CP Plus as a mark of my respect for them.

So I'd just like to say a big thankyou to CP Plus for your concern. I appreciate you spending your time and money in getting my details from the DVLA, printing those letters and paying postage. You're a credit to your 'industry'.

I must admit I miss their offers of help.......

Well its been over 3 months since Rev Dangleberry last wrote to me offering to save my soul. I still don't seem to have gone to Hell either.

Perhaps he wasn't realy after saving my soul at all. Perhaps he just wanted my money to 'invest' in a trip to the phillapines and to do some 'missionary work' saving fillipino ladyboys???
  • Just in case anyone was wondering,

It's been well over a year since I last heard from the CP Plus leaches. I followed the advice on this forum and ignored the 3 letters they sent. Although I assume they will have read my posts on this forum (raises two fingers to them as they read this post  ).

What a shame the government allow this scam to continue, but then again, if these A-holes weren't trying to scam innocent motorists they would probably be trying to scam AOPs on the doorstep.

So to anyone who's just had some free toilet paper from CP Plus, use it, flush it & forget it.

Happy New Year Everyone (obviously not including PPC low life, I hope yours is full of bad luck).

ps. Does the CP in CP Plus stand for 'Completely Pathetic' or is it 'Cretinous Parasites'?:rotfl:

Thanks for getting back to us. You post will act as reassurance for those people who don't believe that "ignore" is the best policy.
