I've just received an email stating that the Warm Front scheme, which provides home insulation and central heating installation/repair is closed to new applications from today.
It looks as if the cold weather has prompted a rush of applications as the 2010/11 fund is now exhausted, but eligible people will be able to apply again from April 2011.
It does state that existing applications are not affected. Having applied for a much needed central heating system (I receive HRM DLA) I sincerely hope so!
