Thinking of buying a new handset cause mine is old (sony errikson cybershot) And just putting the old sim into a new model.
This should avoid having to increase the contract. Think it will work?

Provided you buy a handset which is not locked to another network, there should be no problem. If you want bolt-ons like push email, though, you may have to phone O2 and buy a bolt-on to your £10 contract, but if you just want a newer handset there is no problem buying your own handset and putting your sim card into it.0

thanks. What is a bolt-on. I currently don't have much internest use cause it's basic. If i wanted to use big files or videos it might get me charged through the nose0
