Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.
We'd like to remind Forumites to please avoid political debate on the Forum. This is to keep it a safe and useful space for MoneySaving discussions. Threads that are - or become - political in nature may be removed in line with the Forum’s rules. Thank you for your understanding.
We're aware that dates on the Forum are not currently showing correctly. Please bear with us while we get this fixed, and see Site feedback for updates.

First of all most regular members of the site all admit that there will be 'no second leg down' and change status en masse from 'bear'.
Site owners Fubra move to delete the option of 'bear' or 'bull' from public profiles to save embarrassment and hide this rebellion from casual visitors to maintain their numbers and protect revenue stream.
Today they have removed themselves from the front page list of House Price Predictions, which was a lengthy list of cherry picked gloomy forecasts.

I have a few things to say
1)Exactly how many bears have changed to bull? Provide numbers to back up what you said.
2) Posters still have an option to show they are bull, bear or neitherFrom now on you can edit your profile settings and in the "About me" field you can put your bear / bull status or not - its up to the individual. You can put your gender in there too if you want. Or you can keep your opinions private. It's up to you.
So stop talking rubbish old boyMaidstone Prices - average reductions at 8.5% (£19,668) Feb 2012 - We thought the dudes were not allowed to drop prices?0 -

Seriously, if you want to discuss topics about another forum, why not do it on that forum? This board is entitled "Debate House Prices and the Economy", not "Whinge about housepricecrash.co.uk".
Would you, and all the others get a god damn grip.0 -

Spam. All he is doing is tricking gullible people (like myself) into looking at their website, reading their adverts and increasing their profits.
Oh, and the 40-50% forecast still seems to be there, so I have been doubly tricked!0 -
