Me too. Aren't we covered by their email order confirmation though? Mine said that the order cannot be cancelled or changed by them now - I interpreted this as meaning that I cannot cancel it at this stage. Does it also mean that they can't?

Mine still shows the same, had both emails though so hoping it will change soon

I ordered at 3.30 am for home delivery and mine is still showing as processing. Feeling a little worried although everyone has re-assured me that with a confirmation I will get it. Just can't see the logic when some people ordered after 9 am and have had theirs delivered already.

I know I sound a bit stupid, but is it possible to get my boots delivery today or dont boots deliver on a sunday? Since ive just recieved a parcel from the makeup brand called ELF...

No. It's merely to stop people causing chaos (more chaos) to the system by placing speculative orders then shopping in store then cancelling the order. That then can mean manual intervention to stop parcels going out etc. Far easier to just say once it's in then you can't cancel. It's got nothing to do with them then committing to send it to you.

I wouldn't bank on it.....

I ordered one of their fragrance of the week offers a couple of weeks back, bought some other bits to make order over £20, so that I could use a voucher and had a confirmation email....

The day I was to pick this up from store, I received an amended confirmation, without the perfume on..... :eek: Was furious as that particular fragrance was no longer on offer. I went down to the store and took the original confirmation email with me....

I must have dropped on a SA having a good day though, as she opened my parcel, advised the perfume was missing, then called Boots.com, who advised that it was out of stock online and therefore had cancelled it.... SA said that they had loads of the perfume still upstairs and could she sell me it at the offer price, she got the go ahead, however she couldn't action the voucher code, so she put me a fiver back on my advantage card..... Was well impressed with Boots that day!!!! :T

However, in the case of S&G and the lack of stock, dont think this one will work..... :cool:

My thoughts too! Mine is still processing for home delivery, admittedly it was just after 9 when I ordered but Im amazed some people were getting them the next day!

Wonder if it depends on which part of the country you are in?

Usually deliveries are made on the Sunday before Christmas, but of course, can't account for the weather.

Post office generally deliver the Sunday before xmas to help clear the back log.

sjp.. hope you email boots to say how impress you were with the sa... i did that a few months back and the sa got £5 on her boots card for good service, boots take good cust service seriously. they also sent me a little make-up pack just for emailing!! praise where its due!

im also waiting for my confermation email on 3 S&G totes, called cs and have been told my order is in the warehouse awaiting dispatch tomorrow for delivery wed and not to worry.... fingers crossed one each for me and my girls
