that's true. From working in retail, on Christmas Eve, men will buy anything no matter what the cost, 'cause they've left things to the last minute.

I've seen people spend £15 on 2 fathers day cards, on the Sunday because there was no other choice.

I'm feeling rather sick to the pit of my stomach... went instore and bought the MIL one much to my annoyance that my dearly beloved didn't think of maybe offering to get me one too so ordered one online for instore delivery when i got home as he saw my face when showing him what his mother will be getting for christmas (he went through the oooooh and aaaaaaaah of the hatbox so you'd think he got the hint!!)

Anyway, boots is still showing as "we have received your order" and it's been since 9:14am and i paid with paypal which still shows as pending does that mean i'm not getting one??? I can't expect to keep hers as we've planned how we're padding it out and everything but it'll be a kick in the gut if i don't have mine how childish am i!! lol Just that i've bought everything for the kids, parents and i know not one person has bought a single thing for me!!! winge winge moan moan, rant over... sorry!

Just walked past Boots in Louth and they have several on the gondola ends- I could even see in my drunken state from my work night out (hic!) I guess large stores such as Grimsby and Lincoln have sold out, but little old Louth still has some! I love S&G, I really could go in and grab the lot... but I won't!! x

Just wish i knew what it meant.... Going to call them in the morning... stayed up this long willing it to change but my 3m old is stirring and my twins will be up at 6am no doubt!! grr lol ah well, you win some you lose some.. will keep eye out and hopefully get one and then return this one if it ever shows up!!!

Oh my god, a hatbox sold tonight for £47.86!! plus £8 delivery!

When I went into the Derby Westfield Boots store around 5-5.30pm, they still had a lot in stock. I bought one .

My friend and I had a lovely hot chocolate before deciding to check if everything was in the box. It was a good thing we did this as we found it was missing the breakfast scrub . I took it straight back and they exchanged it for a new one (I had checked it and everything was in there!). Very good customer service.
