i think you are being a bit hasty here to be honest. Parcel post can be very poor at times.Nice to save.0

Your guy's feedback isn't too hot.
I'd be thinking hard about filing an item not received dispute right about now, but the worrying thing is that you can't change dispute if it becomes necessary.
I'd be worrying that it might arrive broken. Judging by his feedback, most items seem to arrive, eventually. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I think, judging by his/her defensive attitude so early on it does look a bit unpromising.
I have only had a similar thing happen once when I bought some shoes off someone in the US. After the first month with no sign of the item I sent the woman lots 'hi don't mean to bother you but I still haven't received the item' which was a bit feeble i know but I was quite new to it. I carried on and got no reply for the next month. I was really peeved cause I'd also paid $28 shipping for the item.
I was just about to give up then decided to send her a really 'I'm so disappointed that someone would do this' and 'I really can't afford to be ripped off' kind of letter and lo behold she replied straight away saying that she was sorry and she would 'put it in the post'. I got it less than 2 weeks later. I know you shouldn't have to do this but I think people need to know exactly how their shoddy way of dealing with others affects them.0 -
Thanks for your responses. Still nothing has arrived today and I've just received a very polite "have you received your item today" email from the vendor. He sent me a most abusive email yesterday which was totally unnecessary and which I've kept, just in case.0
