  • Hi all, anybody got a copy of the T & C's for the Citibank £50 for £500 Xmas spend. I would just like to know details on where the £50 voucher will be accepted & how long after xmas will it arrive. (I thought I had saved them myself, but can't seem to locate them now).

    Many Thanks in advance.

  • Should this have come with this months CitiBank credit card bill ?

Sorry , forumers, I should have read the whole thread before posting... shame I subscribed to MSE newsletter after Martin told us about this
  • my online application resulted in a 'we couldn't authorise now, we'll be in touch'.

Heard nothing, but a card turned up today thanking my wife for her application!

I only added her as a 2nd card holder. No idea if she is part of the HMV offer.
  • I applied over a week ago and got the message 'we couldn't authorise now, we'll be in touch' but as yet haven't heard anything. I assumed it was because I applied at 4am in the morning and decisions at Citibank weren't made at that time. If I had received it within a week I would have easily been able to spend £500 by Xmas. As it is now, if I don't receive it soon I will have bought all my pressies and probably won't use the card. I've got a perfect credit history, always pay cards off in full and can't see why I haven't heard anything yet.
  • Available again - 'Where to Spend It? Credit card offer' on front page of
    citibank.co.uk

Just applied online - 'Will be in touch' message received
  • I too have applied + been accepted.. Signed the credit agreement but nothing mentioning the Voucher! Going to put £500 on it and see what happens... Not sure how to chase them if they dont send a voucher as all information has magically vanished, including martin's original tip. Ideas?
  • Thanks teksat2k.. This is from citibank website:

I applied last week as well - got my agreement form through this morning to sign and return. No mention of the £50 voucher so I phoned them up to ask if I would still get it.....NO!
Sorry, the offer is no longer there. Blah blah blah.
What about the 1st December Closing Date?
    Sorry, it's no longer available...etc.

Excuse my while I find my document shredder and handy barge pole.

  • Well - I got accepted by post and I returned the credit agreement as requested last week - today I received a letter saying my application had been turned down!
