When you say it isn't very fast, to what are you comparing it? If you are used to a desktop then pound-for-pound, GHz for Ghz a laptop will generally be much slower for a variety of technical reasons.
Mr Squiddy I too have a Dell its an Inspirion can you point me to what I dont need running on it at start up? Thanks in advance0
