Set up a website for free

Thought people might be interested in this site I found called 5gbfree.com . They are a free hosting site, so if anyone is looking to set up or expand a business it's a good way to start off on the internet without spending any money. From the research I've done they seem to have a good reputation, and it seems that 5gb of space is a hell of a lot so unlikely you'll run out!

5gbfree first mentioned here in May 2007.
A half dozen mentions since, so surprisingly, probably not spam.

I reckon it is Rob too, of Hawthorne Road, Bromley.

I would keep well away anyway, there are broken links on their Terms of Service page, and they use a Gmail email address instead of one at their own domain. Surely a webhosting company would sort that out, along with a better website.
• I found this on Google. Did someone call for a Rob? Well here I am!

I realise that I'm the "bad guy" here, but I promise that really isn't the case. I *LOVED* running 5GBFree, most sincerly, but it out grew me and so, for the good of the site I sold to what I thought was a good company (legally I can't tell you who, but I promise you've heard of them).

It turns out they made a right hash of things and so right away I tried to buy the site back but they refused. I tried for 3 LONG years and finally they let me.

I do realise that when I sold 5GBFree I let people down, and I swear that I really thought I was selling to a company that could grow what I started. When I came back, I was determined to do so under the same name so for the wrongs that I created, I could try and make ammends.

I'm on a long road, for all the people that believed in 5GBFree and were let down you can not know how SORRY I am.

If you want to email me: Contact5GBFree@gmail.com and I'll say sorry personally (btw, that address is wrong, if you'd like to write to me it's 5GBFree, Molvic Court, Bromley, BR3 4UE).

I feel dreadfull,
Rob

So you're a liar as well??

How would Google index a site in less than 2 hrs AND have you Google your own website :rotfl:

Hey,

I'm subscribed to Google News that mentions 5GBFree.com.

I've explained my position, I sold to a company that weren't up to it. I felt dreadfull, and I tried to buy it back and now they have, and I want to make ammends (search for 5GBFree hosting and look look o page 8 - I'm not a liar, but I do care)

Thanks,
Rob

Also he joins the above forum the same day as the Whois record is updated.

The way this forum works still makes this spam, promoting your own business.

Also he has pm'd me, but I'll keep that to myself for now.
Move along, nothing to see.
