This is the first time I have used an sd card. I have one in my camera, but when I am uploading photos I do it via the usb cable. I am assuming I have a fault with the computer. I am at a loss as to what to do now.

    Thanks

Put the card in the camera, connect the camera via USB and copy pictures from the computer to the card in the camera.

I tried that earlier but it wouldn't work, normally a pop up would appear asking what action I required, but this did not happen. Thanks for your suggestion.

You don't need to go through the pop-up.

Connect camera, go to My Computer, camera should show up as another drive. Open it, and keeping this folder open, open up the folder where you have the pictures on your hard drive.

Copy from one to the other.

If that fails, go to Jessops, Maplin or PC World tomorrow and get a USB card reader for the SD card, connect the card with this and copy pictures to it.

Thanks very much for your advice, I will give that a try, and fingers crossed it will work,

When I click on them it states to put a disc in the drive.
If you get that message for each if the five drives whilst you have the sd card inserted, you may have a Duff card. Does it say sd or sdhc on the front? it may be that the computer can't see it if it is sdhc, in which case you would either need an £8 adaptor or a different card. They're pretty cheap.

Does the photo frame come with a USB cable - if it does, you should be able to use it as a card writer.
