Yes, gonna invest in the DS wifi USB adapter (easy option) LOL, will get the internet browser too, will make a nice xmas present for my daughter.

Thanks very much for your time, and efforts Gaming_guy, shame it didnt help in anyway but the experiance did make me understand my router a little more. Thing is the next time I want to go into the settings I will have forgotten it all.

my router (netgear dg834g) is not on the compatability list, but it works fine but i cant understand why yours dont want to work.
