What do I need to use NDS wifi.
Was going to buy my daughter the internet browser for her NDS but I try looking for wifi connections via the NDS and it wont find our WIFI connection at home, even sitting next to the thing.
Do I need a special adapter, I already have a box standard usb wifi adapter, the Animal Crossing game(has wifi function) and a wireless router/modem.
Router is :- Cable & Wireless 802.11g Wireless LAN ADSL Router (ADSLR10CW3)
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

the ds only supports wep security as i had the same thing when i tried to connect a ds to my network which has wpa-psk security and the ds said this access points security settings are not supported by the nintendo ds
also do you have the router running in wireless b and g mode? (like this picture)0 -

log on to your wireless router by clicking here (192.168.0.1 or routerlogin.com)
then look for an option down 1 of the sides called wireless settings (or simalar) then look for wireless mode (select b and g) then look for security and select wep
do this on a computer that is wired to the router0 -
ok, just re-set router and did a search via the NDS and it picked up my wifi router and another ( I persume its one down the street)
When I tried to connect via my wifi router I got the following message :-
Error code 51300
Unable to connect to an access point. Confirm Nintenco WFC Connection settings and access point settings.

you will need to enter your internet account details into the router as you have just erased all of your settings and the security (so anyone could use your internet connection)0

the second one is for netgear routers then (I thought it would work with your router, but obviously not then!)
try http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.2.10 -
How and where do I put the internet account details into the router, there is no desk top software/application. I know my router is not secure as on my pc its displayed with an unlocked padlock.MSE:-)MoneySpendingExpert (-:0
