02 Tariff change!!!!!!
Changed my 02 contract from Simplicity 20 to 25 as I needed more minutes. On checking my account on their website on the date it would change it hadnt been done. Had to ring to get it changed and although they did it next day they didnt keep the blackberry bolt on. So had to ring again to get that added. Awful customer service - I shouldnt have to check that they have done thier job.
So if you change your tariff with 02, worth checking that they have done what they said they were going to do as it seems they cant do simple changes like this correctly .

Tariffs change on your next billing date.
If you phone up and create a fuss, they will try to switch you over earlier, but as you found out it isn't straightforward to do and mistakes can happen . So I'd cut them a little bit of slack.0 -
I did the tarrif change in plenty of time for the Tarrif to change at my next billing date. I would cut them some slack if they had made one mistake, but they made two errors (not changing the tarrif and then not keeping the data bolt on) on what should be a simple change.0
