Both of the above are fine as long as you don't want to use visual voicemail/bt openzone etc as they only work with IPhone specific tariffs.

If you don't use any of those features currently, go for it!

You can only get in direct from T-Mobile, you have to phone the number listed in the thread.

I'm using it in my iPhone 3GS

One thing to not with T-Mobile is that voicemail isn't included so you have to pay 12p, but you can request to have voicemail turned off.
