Just checked what I've paid off this month and so far it is

    £100 + £273.98 + £61.49 + £48.87 + £71.12 = £555.46 number 9

Of which £100 is an overpayment

Well its a start! Can't believe on average my debt repayment from my wage is over £400 a mth usually - good grief

Well at least this has made me realise this really needs to change and the repayment plan needs to kick in
final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333

My DH got an insurance payout for an accident he had 2 years ago at work. We paid off £5k today and now it's gone, and obviously we won't be able to do that every month. I took that money into account when I set my target, so for me £16000 is real.

Well done to paying it straight off debts. :T

Paid another £37.93 off Virgin CC today. This is from living extremely frugally this week and cutting down on needless journeys in the car.

    £966.58/£10,000

I think January might end up proving to be the most successful month for me in this challenge!

For me too! I'm worried that I can live without chocolate for a month or so but that I'm going to loose my money saving mojo soon :o

I'd really like to bring my total debt below £10,000 by the end of the year. Good luck everyone!
