Well I'm off the mark! Got paid today so I've transfered £940.19 in to the savings. I daren't pay it off the credit card because January is going to be such a lllloooonnnggg month - got paid 2 weeks early!!! So think I may need to dip back into it after Xmas, but will try to hold off as long as possible.

Hi - can I join please. I need to clear £1,820 natwest loan, £3550 tesco credit card and £350 NATWEST CREDIT CARD.
These total £5,720 - want to clear these by June 10, then will completely debt free and start on my mortgage.
Aim to take £6,000 off my mortgage next year therefore down from 165K to 159K.
Total debt reduction is £11,720

good look one and all.
i will begin january the 1st although having said that we are already having a more frugal christmas as i have been gradually paying off the old debts for ages.
mine are two credit cards so i will blitz them come january along with being frugal with the food shopping. nothing else to be spent. i can do it. we can all do it.
