  • Ok, I am looking towards a minimum of 6k off £17000+ of debt. That's about £500 a month. All part of the greater scheme of things.

Welcome William, I shall add you to the list. Reducing your debt by £6k in a year will be a huge achievement. Good luck with it! :)

Hi, I'm aiming to pay off at least 2 out of 4 CC debts next year - approx £5000. No idea how I am going to get there but will be trying all the same.

The camaradarie on here will help and any tips would be greatly appreciated too!

Ok, one question: my loan overpayment goes out on the 30th Dec but doesn't clear before the 2nd earliest. Does it count as 2010 or 2011 :)?

Please add me on to the challenge - My target will be £10,000 :eek:  Oh well it is a challenge after all ;) This will be in the form of 2 credit cards and 1 overdraft.

Hmm, if i get these cleared though it will mean paying more than £10,000 as they are not interest free.

Many Thanks for running this challenge jwil,

    Good luck everyone.

I'm counting the challenge as starting from yesterday, so I would count it. But if you would prefer to wait until 2011 actually starts then that is fine too, there's no real rules here! :)
