    pad 6.00......... now owe 16856/31943 and paid 15087/7800........i cant believe last yr i owed over 31000............this thread has given me the motivation i needed.............thanx jwil and all on here..........xxx

    Wow, just catching up after Lapland (which was FAB!) and am really impressed with our 72%. Great spreadsheet juggling Jwil! Interestingly, had we not done Lapland we would have paid off roughly 72% as well. I think it shows that the people who were really serious about paying off debt and didn't just have a new year resolution that they broke immediately, aimed at a total that was realistic - not too easy and not too hard to get to. Well done everyone!

    I had an unexpected (and very small!) Christmas bonus this year which is in my account and will probably mostly get soaked up by CHristmas overdraft, but at least it means I can start the new thread with a clear conscience. Really boringly excited about 2012 nad debt - it will definitely be our last credit-card-debt year. Hurrah!

    Just an end-of-year update. So excited to report £8,800 paid off :j:beer::j. That's 88% of my target - am well-pleased :T.

    Hi All,

    Well this will be my last up date of 2011 challenge.
    I have made an overpayment of £45.50which takes my running total to £3688.54/£6000

    Looking forward to next years debt reducing now.

    Thanks to this thread I have reduced my amount of debts from 6 to 3.
    I have closed those 3 accounts.
    I have used my CC 3 times this year and each time paid the spend of in full (just used it for extra reassurance).
    I have reduced my overall debt by £7000.
    I have made some great friends.

    So thank you all especially jwil. Have a great Christmas and a debt reducing New Year. See you all on the 2012 challenge thread :)
