  • Well last month was hard, long and expensive!! Had a "blip" but have sent £400 to cover all that nonsense, my new total is:

    £1935/£3435

That means I've only got £1500 to go!! I used to always get to twice that and then it went up and down and up and down again and again and now it looks like I've broken the cycle and the end is in sight!!

Hi all my update 1683.89. My regular credit card payment not paid alot more than the minimums i set. I have dropped below the 250 a month paid off for the first time. Me thinks i need to pull my finger out and find some ebay fodder. Want to get back on target for August want to be clear of this milestone arounf our necks.

With huge bills coming in this month (MOT, car servicing, some professional registration fees) totalling about £1000 and my massive exam fees of £1500 means that it's only going to be minimum payments for me and I'm going to have to work hard not to be in my over draft by the end of the month :(

You think your doing so well and then one bad month seems to send it all to hell. It'll be nice when we're out of this debt and can properly budget for all these big bills (because they aren't unexpected really).

£241 in minimums means my new total will be:

    119. Deeperblue - £7538.29/
    £12,000

So here is to next month
    Parents - £4000/£0 paid
    OH parents - £9000/£0 paid

    Mortgage - £125,000/£0 overpayments

So here's payday. Can't afford to pay alot this month. Only £140. Although there are many perks to freelancing, not having a regular income is not one of them. I did however get a friend, who is expert at budgeting, to help me with my budget. Soooo much easier now I know what money I need for the essentials and what is actually left for enjoying myself (sadly less than I hoped!). Keep up the good work everyone!

I haven't posted in here for a couple of months.
So since May and including todays payments, I've paid another £820.23 towards my loans.

I've slacked off a bit since I cleared the credit cards. Its been nice to have a bit more ready cash in my sticky mits, but I'd really like to start paying more towards the smaller loan to get that paid off. Need a new car soon but I've told myself I can't get one until that loan is cleared.

    So total is now £5078.86/£10,000
