I've cleared a credit card woo hoo :j:j That's £150 to that, so very pleased to see the back of MBNA. There will be a small amount of interest next month, but then it will be closed forever :T

I've also paid another £295 this morning to other debts, but £250 is a debt which is not covered by this challenge and the other £45 is paying off something that was added to a credit card, so doesn't count here either.

    Mortgage-free Glee! Debt-free and Proud!
    Morning

just popped in to say that yesterday I updated my speadsheets and discovered I'm in position to overpay £100 per month. so, quick as a flash after work, I went to the bank and set up a standing order to pay £100 to MBNA starting 8th April !

It will knock at least 6 months of my credit card debt free date - will be mid-2014 instead of early 2015 - hurrah! :j
