  • Well my wage is pending going into my bank account, and my payments are pending coming out so by the time I wake up in the morning I will have got rid of another £300 of debt :D

    £735/£3435

Still on target for getting it all paid off by the end of the year, but I want to be able to add a bit extra this month - Jan & Feb have both been VERY tight months, fingers crossed March will be better :)

Have made myself a budget for the month that gives me "pocket money" per week - if I can stick to that I can pay off another pretty big chunk at the end of the month - wish me luck!!
  • Hi All

Hope you had a great break Jwil.

Paid £50 off cc today so balance now: £697.85/£5423.06

Should be paying min £100 a month (through my own decision) but this month and next are really busy so looks like I will just be paying the min. Feel like I've let myself down but I know we can't always pay what we want every month.

  • Hi,

I'm new and would like to join if it is ok - it will help motivate me, especially during the more challenging months.

I would like to clear £10000 this year - a nice round figure.

    Thanks

  • Hi everyone

It's payday today and I've been as frugal as possible which has paid off! I have £1k left before being paid but OH is on half pay till April so I have kept £500 and paid £500 off the Bank of Scotland CC. I'm hoping to do the same every month now, if I can do it with the OH on half pay I can certainly do it after that! I may have to increase my total amount if things keep going this well, I was originally aiming to just clear one credit card this year but looks like more may be possible.

    £750/£2,400
    Bank of Scotland CC: £2209.22/£2400.

  • Got paid today, but gonna leave it a couple of days before I pay anything. Just like the feeling of having money in my bank account!
