I had a sneaky look yesterday Jwil (slow day at work!) and we need to pay off another £39k to get to our monthly target! Hopefully lots of people will get paid in the next week and will be able to post more payoffs...

Also noticed as I was totting up that there are quite a few people who haven't updated at all this challenge. Do you think they're still taking part? Hypno is one of them - she ran the original thread so I'd be surprised if she didn't have something good to report.

  • This month, I completely cleared the balance on my Cap1 card and aim to clear this balance any time I spend on it. Total paid off credit cards this month is £530.25 meaning that my Challenge Total is now £856.40.

My credit card debt total is now below £10000 so that's one embarrassed face removed from my sig (one face per £1000 cc debt). :)
  • just noticed a slight miscalulation on my part and i have paid off £442.18 which i am proud to sayis an improvement and better than i thought.

    Hi

This is an addictive thread - In a positive way of course lol!
After reading through the recent posts I've made another small payment to Egg of £10.39 to round up my outstanding balance, Egg online statement is showing an estimated intrest next month of £7ish less than the month before by making overpayments, better than nothing!

I'm afraid this really needs to be the last payment this month for me as the overdraft not looking too hot at the moment.

    17. Lou06 - £536.75/£8,500
Pay off as Much as You Can Challenge 2011 £8.5K Jan '11 £1,901.80/£8,500.00
    Cracking the Egg Card @ 19.9% 16/12/10 = £3570.64
    MBNA @ 0% = £1,358.72
