On a very technical note, the MacBook (and probably the iPhone) cannot be put as an expense; it counts as capital expenditure because it's intended to last a while, rather than expenses which are meant to be... well.. expendable!
In practice however you get the same tax allowance, but on the tax return, you have to put it under "Annual Investment Allowance" rather than as an allowable expense. And if it's half personal/half business, you can only count half. Feel free to PM me if any of that is badly explained0 -

You must live 0.1 miles nearer the jewellery as I never get any, but I did get a coffee last month
I had a call to do an urgent bank today, serves me right for not checking but it doesn't open weds  = 1 wasted journey0 -

I hardly get anything from GfK anymore. Do you have anything other than RED and LOC on your visits available page? I use to do loads for them but am trying to figure out if other people are getting the jobs or if there is just a lack of jobs. Where was your bank?
Was it a mortgage enquiry? Did the town start with "W"?0 -
AAAAAAaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh
So, the spreadsheet I put together last july for all my MSing for my tax credits form is either a)been deleted (unlikely) b) saved. But saved on a laptop I reurned to the ship in a fit of pique after 6 weeks as it didn't work properly or c) saved on my old desk top - for which the monitor no longer works.
Anyway I can connect desk top to laptop and look at files?
Sorry, not a strictly MS query - but I needed to scream somewhere!0 -

Comedy typo! I do, in fact, mean shOp. Which in itself was an MS. I did my whole laptop enquiry, then left saying I wanted to check with my partner. And 3 weeks later, by coincidence, was in the same shop with bloke and took him to look at laptops. Cue embarrassing conversation "oh , you're back! we thought you were our mystery shopper!"0
