  • Well, i was meant to be swimming but got a phone call from my mum. Seems petrol bombing her car in october wasn't good enough. They have now shot every windown in the house with a pellet gun. Two holes in every window.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

OMG, is she ok? Are the police doing anything? I remember your post about the car.

    So sorry for her.

Police can't do anything as we don't know who it is. Hopefully the council will take it a bit more seriously. the said when the car got done it was 'just property' and that one of us would basically have to be assulted before we got moved for safety grounds.

They won't let us move because were the victims of crime. It makes no difference to the housing catagory you are allocated. Were on the list to move like everone else and a three bedroom home is rare.

    We can either
    a. abandon our home and be put anywhere, have to put everything in storeage, give up the pets and then be given a certain time to choose before they give us a house anywhere.
    b. I can move out and let my mum and little sister get a to bedroom home.

Well, as of today I have no full-time job. I look forward to a redundancy payout, but in the meantime some serious mystery shopping will help to fill the gap!

My provisional plan at the moment is to go self-employed, not just doing this but a variety of the things I'm good at .

Sorry to hear that. Hope your plans work out for you xx

That's awful. Everyone must be so shaken up. Thinking of you all and hope you get moved soon xx
Here I go again on my own....

Go and see your MP and your local Councillors, definitely. Make sure you keep all communications with police and log everything that happens.

So sorry to hear about this. Do you live in a Council property? You should definitely call the area office and ask to speak to the emo/smo or even the manager. Or better still, actually present yourself at the area office with a crime reference number and even photos of the shots and anything else.

If you are a Council tenant, they do actually get quite a few 3 bedroomed properties in the area you live. Or they have a lot of 3 bedroomed housing association properties also.

    Good luck hon.

Oh and hope PROSHOPPER is OK too after her op. Take care duck.

Good luck, I was there last year but not brave enough to go it alone :D

On another note, does anyone know with a travel agent shop do you have to finish the shop before the end of the time period? I did one today and I was in for 40 mins so went over the end time by about 10 mins.

Been to the office, given the photo's. Doesn't make a difference.

They have 3 bedroom properties in hudds etc. We want to stay in the town we are in. Both grown up here. Little sister is at school. My grans close by (which is more important now since my grandad passed away in march).

What seems difficult for the council to accept is we are being hounded out of our home, we will not be hounded out of the town we grew up in, live and have family here. Which i don't believe is unreasonable.
