RE seems to get all the visits from all the other companies! Not fair.
Had 2 eye tests with TERN today. Both my prescriptions are totally different. Should I be scared?0 -
I had a call this afternoon offering me an urgent re-shop for today. It would have involved a 50-mile round trip and almost two hours travel. Usually, I would expect at least 4X fee for this. The maximum they would cover was twice the fee. Essentially, the extra money would have covered only my mileage and parking (and then only just), so I had to refuse. The allocator seemed to understand that I was not willing to give my time at £3.20 per hour, but implied that others were doing so.
This seems to be the RE effect kicking-in yet again! Oh, and whoopee!!! Money from RE for referrals! I would not hold my breath on that one (and it doesn't seem worth even a hiccup).0 -

NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO there goes half my xmas presents as I almost certainly won't do them for RE.0 -
But jen, you're in the big town!!!
Has it's advantages sometimes being in the middle of nowhere. Companies cant always wait for the 3/6/12 month rotation period. Got a few of these last month. All at increased fees. The best was supposed to be a 6 month rota that I had done just two weeks before. And have you noticed that our local TNS diy shop has always got a bonus on it nowadays?
Yup and now another company does it too so you could grab 2 visits!!
lol yeah I guess its a big town not by my standards but considering i lived in a village with 31 people just before it... its BIG0 -

I say until the new shoppers who took this on for glory start failing the reports or realise HOW much work MSing really is its the sign of the times... but i know a lot of allocators that are still giving to the people who work hard and actually give a !!!!.0 -

Is the fee/reimbursement still the same? No let me guess, only a miniscule reimb and no fee?0 -
Anyone else seeing 22nd Dec email / sidebar>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I'm seeing 22nd Dec email on all Up your income threads when you click into them. If you are too, then I've started a thread here to report it. If you'd like to add your experience if you see it too....Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Why do companies lose clients to another company? Surely its got to do with costs, because its still the same people carrying out the work. I would do the same standard of work for X and Y company. However, some are harder to come by than others.....0 -

Dont always assume that the new shoppers are in it for the glory. I have only relatively new experience but always try to be fair and objective in my reporting. I would never let a company down without good reason (or anyone, as a matter of fact). The only problem is that I do not have enough experience to demand/request 4x fee. At what point do you think this comes along?0 -

Im not implying ALL new shoppers but you see an influx after xmas etc and then people tailor off as they can't be bothered....
I think asking for more comes with confidence and knowing the allocators.0
