Am I right in thinking that the current lot of React jewellery audits do not involve a purchase/ refund? I can't see anything that mentions them, but thought I should double check. (And if not, good-that made them more trouble than they were worth IMHO).

Unless React are doing two different types of jewellery stores then whether there is a purchase or not depends on the staff member. The ones I was looking at said that if the staff tried to close the sale you had to accept and make the £500 purchase, then send it off by Special Delivery. If they didn't then there was no purchase.
  • What you meant to say was took ages, report was like war and peace, not really worth it for the fee but we struggle on ;)

(no wonder the fees are all hurtling towards the floor! Please don't anyone say anythings easy :))

Sorry - that's exactly what I meant to say :embarasse

Ah, sorry, I should have been clearer, I meant the jewellery audits, the ones that are usually within the store iykwim? They used to involve making a purchase, going back for a refund, then doing the audit, but that seems to have changed.

You're right Jen but it looks like they're trying to steal the shed client :(

Can't see any supermarket jobs on there but that could just be their nuts website where you pick a bookies up and seven hundred pubs disappear :rotfl:

How's CA hun? Hope the weathers better than over here! Will drop you a PM
  • I've got my first car dealer circuit with BARE tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous....what I know about cars could be written on the back of a stamp and still have room for the Lord's prayer!

I've got all the info and could repeat it verbatim, but I'm not sure I could handle banter and haggling with a car salesman...Any tips from a seasoned professional? :)

Just aim low (I always say I was thinking of a price a few thousand below the target price). You're in a great position, remember they want to sell you the car, it's their job to try to persuade you to part with a huge chunk of cash for it. They probably will knock loads off and try to get you to take it for a spin etc but if necessary say you need to meet a friend or something to cut it short once the hagglings gone as far as it can go without you buying it. They're nice little jobs, or at least they were until the exchange rate bombed and the fees got cut!!
  • I've just got an email from Gap saying I'll get an extra bonus if I do two burgers in February! Result! :D

    Yep.....you gain lb`s not £££`s....:rotfl:
