Hi, I am new here and I have just signed up to gapbuster. Can anyone help me? I was kind of lazy with the tests for some of the companies, and I failed a few. Do I get a chance to resit these after some time, or is that it over? :(

    Over I'm afraid.

You got off lightly, if you try and do this on a job you'll likely not get paid and/or sacked.

Just try harder on the ones you did pass and most importantly read the brief carefully and follow it to the letter. If you do the jobs well they may let you resit at a later date.

Most of the GR banks are now done by GFK, BARE and various others. I used to get loads from GR about 3 years ago. It was email after email after email. Can anyone still remember where you had to key numbers in on the telephone to accept jobs? Those were they days. It's all good. GR still have the other supermarket.

As for the TNS pizza, it went downhill and I'm not really that bothered about it. It used to be quite glam, but is now a bit like the nasty pizza place GYP do. I hope the supermarket stays with them. I just love doing their bigger stores. Updating a shopping list with descriptions of staff sneakily is fun!

    I remember it Mimi!

As for the pizza, I stopped doing our local one after I took my (then) 18 month old with me. He always had a weak gag reflex and puked everywhere on the table, the wooden floor and the chair.

I couldn't show my face there again :o

Thanks. Yes I suppose so, I wish I had paid more attention, but oh well, not to worry.

  • Regarding the TNS supermarket, I have a few visits to do tomorrow and I know one of them has a REACT coffee shop inside. We only get re-imbursed up to £1 for the coffee shops in supermarkets, does anyone know what the cheapest product that the posh coffee shops sell? I try to always keep within reimbursements, as it defeats the purpose of making money.
Or what do you usually buy?
  • Thank you everyone for your replies, I'll dig my bank statements out and have a look

The one I did recently was a cup of tea or one type of biscuit. Same price as the reimbursement.

Maybe remove the reimbursement amount? It's not a fee but same principle. thanks.

I normally just buy the cheapest small coffee, but I like them, so see it as a bargain :D
The grabbit baskets by the till often hold items less than £1

  • Definite result! I did one of the LOC ones this morning - total doddle!

What you meant to say was took ages, report was like war and peace, not really worth it for the fee but we struggle on ;)

(no wonder the fees are all hurtling towards the floor! Please don't anyone say anythings easy :))

Aww honey bee. Such a shame. I got on really well with my regional manager and she would give me all 3 pizza stores almost every month. Woohoo. Plus the reports took about 5 minutes to do. Such a doddle.

Both are WC (no such thing as central).

I've had that email from GYP, but I wouldn't say I was new. I'd argue that as they've thanked me for signing up & sent me it, I should get it.

Had a phone call from ABAi today which I ignored. I looked & thought it was ESA yet again, but when I listened to the message it was ABAi, but their number didn't start with the ususal 798xxx. Might have to start paying more attention to the numbers.

WC is West Central, and EC is East Central.

Am I right in thinking that the current lot of React jewellery audits do not involve a purchase/ refund? I can't see anything that mentions them, but thought I should double check. (And if not, good-that made them more trouble than they were worth IMHO).
