For the first time today I have visited a shop on the wrong day, so won't get paid and the shop will have to be redone by someone else - how annoyed with myself am I :mad::mad:

Welcome to the club. Small comfort but at least you're not the only person to make that mistake. I've had wrong day, wrong time slot, wrong branch.

Also, wander past beforehand and take a picture from across the street if you can. If you let us know which company you're shopping for (Mystery Shopping company NOT which client) then there may be some more specific hints.

Oooh no, texting is not good! Got a proof reading query from RE today for a visit I did in a burger store. Apparently they could not do a check back on my food because I was texting someone whilst I was waiting for my food to be delivered. Since when do they make check backs if the food has not arrived? The queries just get sillier and sillier.

I'll try and relax as much as possible. I've read the scenario and have a clear picture of what I'm asking for, as long as they don't throw any awkward questions at me I should be fine. Because I'm going alone, if I get caught off guard by a probing question I can always use the excuse, "I need to discuss it with my partner".

A travel shop was my first MS and I fine right up to the point they asked about the kids' school holiday times. As I don't have little ones, I got completely flummoxed.

Basically, think the whole scenario through but don't worry, you can think on your feet.

And let me guess....the report is now invalid and they wont pay you? Any excuse they can find not to pay you, they will use, even though they give your report to the client. I HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we should all boycott RE. Been with them for over a year and have gone off them after they started reducing the fees and sending the stupid queries.
Wish I'd found this thread before...

Curently we (Helion) perform only the International Mystery shopping for this Retail company, Jersey and Guernsey fall under this.
