I've just got back into MS since having a few months off and there seems to be barely any work around! I'm with ABA, RE, Gap, MCE, GFK and React and I'm lucky to get 1 maybe 2 jobs a week, has it dried up everywhere or is it just me?0

They don't have a great deal of work....but it's quite interesting sometimes![/QUOTE]
I used to do the Bakery Shop in London/Greater London area - Do you know if they still do it. They stopped offering me any job. Yes, they are friendly but you could be sacked without them having the decency to tell you.0 -
Tbh I think the only reason I have lots at the moment is because I'm willing to travel 100 miles in any direction and I travel a lot for work. Locally there's not much about.0

Hmmmm, slight confusionhere! Can someone else who's doing the Gadget/Novelty shop for React (the watch/lamp scenario) confirm that it's not just me missing something or being silly, but the guidelines state that no purchase has to be made, but it doesn't seem like you will be able to submit without uploading a receipt, and there is a section on the experience at the tills.
But it doesn't say you have to make a purchase (so I'm taking that to mean that you don't have to make a purchase at all, not just you don't have to buy something specific)?!? Is this where I'm wrong, is it just a given that some purchase or other has to be made?Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
I've not got a gadget shop but the last time that happened on react I just wrote on a bit paper 'no purchase made, as per the brief' and didn't get a query. Although that was a whole back (1 year+)
On another note everyone my printer packed in today so nipped to Tesco and managed to get a good deal on a wireless epson scanner/printer/photocopier for £45. So if anyone is looking to buy one might be worth looking at.0 -

I bought one of those from Staples a few months ago. Very good, a bit slow on scanning but never had a problem with it.0 -

Don't talk to me about printers, i spent all weekend researching the damned things. I looked at loads in my price range but there was always some issue with them, cheap printers= paper jams, expensive inks not compatible (eg only uses internet explorer, window 2000 etc), expensives inks, only paper no card, expensive inks. I finally settled on the Epson stylus SX515w ( pretty good all round and accepts compatible inks) but the cheapest seller was Amazon £71. 99 ( then £79.99 now £82.99)
I was still tempted to buy the thing till i found out that only two weeks ago i could have picked it up for £45.
I'm still looking :mad:0 -
Is RE down again?0
