Had a chance to look in to XTR on Christmas Eve after you mentioned them Graham, liked what I saw and had a cheeky £1k gamble. Have been away for a few days and not had access to a PC or been checking my phone and nearly fell off my seat when I saw it was up 60%. I don't normally get in and out so quickly but considering I didn't do that much research I decided to not ride my luck and sell.

Not sure what's going on with XEL as I just can't make out the drift in SP, but it's always a good reminder that the markets don't always behave as you expect. Still in profit, I just expected to be in more profit at this point.

And I bought in to HER at 0.79p too, so that's been behaving rather nicely of late. Good times at the mo!

Hope you're keeping an eye on them. It's obviously never dull at XTR!

    Blindingly well played by cleaver.

In terms of a very short term trade it looks as though I [STRIKE]got lucky[/STRIKE] timed my sell incredibly well.

    ;)

Thanks chucky. Holding OTC and EMED, so a good day.
Am holding OTC til the update in the New Year but EMED will be longer term depending on permits.

Dont really know anything about Polo. Heard a little about them when they were doing that special 2p div but found out too late and decided against researching them. Sorry fella, but I'm no help on them.

    Blimey.

    I just wet myself.

I blame cleaver! Started off the selling see ;)

This is what I like though, bit of excitement! It's pulling back again now it seems, and I was just hovering over the buy button, as I sold AMC earlier on.

Did me good to see a fall like that. Hadn't seen one up until now.
  • Hi
My friend is a Financial Advisor and he suggested to me that I should dabble with a 'dummy share account' - just google this. And as you can imagine it's the real stocks and shares but without the risk. It will also give you a feel of the market before you take the ultimate plunge!

Well I just taken £130 profit from HER.

Had to sell one of the remaining two gambles, as was watching the profit go down and down. Want to keep XTR, so sold out on HER. Will keep those proceeds for another opportunity, probably after the new year or something.

Profits a profit, as they say. No doubt HER will now fly!
