  • Does this debt include student loans? If yes, I owe around £7k. If not, I'm not one of the prudent few who owe nothing. Bought everything with cash, debt is bad. Works for me.

And as a (very) occasional poster, just thought that I'd add that that Ghoul fellow is a grade one !!!!.
I am not really an Eskimo. I can hear what you're thinking... "Inuit!"

    For Silver and Gold. :D

Just for the record are you still saying gold and silver are going to crash soon?

How long have you been saying this? Does it not bother you that you are wrong every year?

Not quite as long as HPC were predicting a housing crash :)

Apparantly not, as he keeps on posting it even though he is wrong.

For some strange reason is does bother the very people who should be able to ignore such comments.

    I wonder why ?

I don't owe anything. Nor does my husband. Which means someone out there owes £45k ;).

This is a long game over years.

Prices are decreasing again as UK & global economies adjust.

Remember the days when a For Sale sign would bring a regular stream of eager buyers, that's all gone up in smoke.

People are holding out for old house prices, but the dam must eventually burst.

Not the one sided balance sheet again?

Depends what they've done with the money. It's either in cash or, if they've wasted it, a c/fwd loss - ie reduced shareholder (taxpayer) funds.

Still, plenty of assets to sell off to recoup losses - motorway anyone?
