I wouldn't risk waiting until Boxing Day as it can be hit and miss which stores open. Also, you might want to bear in mind we are heading for more snow so even if the stores open there are no guarantee deliveries will get there.
ETA: If you have room in your freezer stock up now. Bread is just as good if frozen.0 -
I use a breadmaker. Always have bread to hand then.0

Have you tried your local bakery (if you have one near)? I've ordered several loaves to collect on Xmas Eve - as they'll be fresh that day they will be fine by Boxing Day. Other than that, deffo get some part baked rolls etc in, I've just got a few from Aldi.0

I can't see anything wrong with buying several uncut loaves on Christmas Eve and bunging them in the oven for five minutes to perk them up on Boxing Day. I do it all the time0

Last year the bakery in our local tesco was open, however the shelves were bare as everyone obviously wanted fresh bread for their turkey sandwiches!
So even if the bakery is open, don't bank on being able to get anything!
