The two-tone bathroom suites were all the rage here in the 80's. Most of the 'posh' new builds had them.

Excellent - I'd been meaning (and then forgot) to start a tacky house thread after my partner found this:

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-17502975.html

The chandelier in the kitchen is our fave bit - think the present owner is perhaps not very tall. Is knee-level microwave the new version of "eye-level grill"?

We had a better one than that, but it sold so there's no longer a link. It also had a chandelier in the kitchen, but also had a white chaise longue in there as well. :p The sofa in the livingroom wouldn't have looked out of place in Louis XI's palace (also in white and gold) :D It wasn'tan old house though - it was a new bunglalow.

This one is still pretty swagtastic though. http://www.graygraylaw.com/pdf/43towerhillpeterhead.pdf

The other strange thing about that house is they have the dining table in front of the tv, what's that about?

I must admit if I lived in a house like that it would make me laugh all day every day. Could be more effective than AD's :D

On the contrary, I think I'd do something to myself just to end it all.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
