I guess you mean unlocking? i.e making it open to all networks..Either jailbreak it or contact your network provider.0

The easiest way is indeed to contact your provider, but it'll cost you.
I did my one myself for free, which worked (after a few teething troubles
) 0 -
depends what network you're on and whether you bought it PAYG or contract.
if it is an iphone 4 then doing it the network way is the only way to unlock it.0 -
just had mine done.....bought it on payg through o2 las year but used a contract sim in it....went on line with o2 chat and it was done straight away for free...only had to provide imei no. Am thinking of a new one:beer:0

hi thanks friend of mine runs a club and has about 4 that have been left behind the bar so what do you do with them, they gave the usual 3 months the owner to collect on proove of number but not collected so is this to be unlocked/ jailbreak or can we contact the provider personally have a samsung galaxy S. and wont be turned to the dark side0

yeah the provider way is good, or you could just hand them in at a police station, but tbh they will prob just say that you have already left them for a good amount of time so they are now yours, or even if they do take them in another 6 months you would automatically be able to claim them as finder.
if they are IMEI blocked they are pretty much only good for paperwaights anyway.0 -
thanks will pass on0
