Hi,
My 3 contract runs out the begining of Feb. I called today just to see what they would offer me...
32gb (which is what I want) iphone 4 - £119
500 mins, unlimted text, 1gb etc - £35 pm on a 24 months contract.
I am happy to stay with 3 and couldn't fork out much more up front. But I don't think its a very good deal... Only saving a bit on the cost of the phone compared to new customers although I can't imagine I'd get a better deal with any other network.
I was also told I have £10 discount on my account (been with them since 07).
What Iphone 4 rentention deals have 3 offered you??? And any other advice to get a better deal?
Thanks x

As you probably know, there's very little difference in prices/tariffs for the iPhone 4 as Apple closely control what discounts, if any can be given.
Saying that, if there is a good deal to be done, it's not going to happen until you have a month left on your current minimum term and are able to request your PAC. Any deal offered now is likely to be the weakest they can get away with to try and sign you up early.0 -

Hi Spaceman, I am going to aim for that then (I think thats reasonable). Do you mind PM-ing me your name and details of your deal (i.e rough date etc)? Then I could be like my friend so & so was offered this and see what they say. I don't no how that will go down but its worth a try.
Also I am gonna wait until until closer to the end of my contract, I'm just trying to get an idea.

i would think you could get that offer quite easily, i never had to haggle with them, it was there first offer, either free phone and tariff for £35, or £99 up front cost and tariff for £30 a month, so i chose the free phone option, and i dont ever go over my allotted minutes/texts/data a month, so not as if i am a high value customer in those terms, so it seems to be a deal you could probably get quite easily, unless they have enough iphone users now, so dont need to offer such good incentives to get oneTake every day as it comes!!0
