Does anyone know any good wholesalers or dropping companies?

I started just under 2 years ago with £30, i used the £30 to buy headphones and iPod cables form China for the iPod for about 50p each and selling them at £3.99, just keep reinvesting the money to new products and stock.
I now currently hold over 30k of stock, rent a small unit and have a successful website as well as trading on eBay.

My secret was eBay, buy Cheap on eBay form China and re-list it on a different account as.

For example – search for “power supply tester” select “Cheapest P+P lowest first” form the drop down box, you will see then for about £2.02, from UK sellers these sell all day every day for £5-6 and £5-10 in a ecommerce website, may not seem worth it for £1-2 but when you sell 30-40 a month along side other stock your in the money.

I was buying my stock on eBay for the first 6-12 months and still occasionally use eBay to buy stock, over time you will find some good contacts and meet some excellent sellers.

Don’t just buy any old rubbish, find a specific area to trade in and gain knowledge over time if / when you have your own website you don’t want to be selling everything from AA batteries to Uncle Toms top hat.

Read up on the DSR’s (distant selling regulations) and get your tax in order.

A warning, although im on the right track im yet to take any money form my business and still work full time, its not a quick way to get rich.

Should anyone decide to import any electrical goods from China make sure they are tested to UK standards, you'll get in a lot of trouble with Trading Standards selling non-CE certified electrical goods.
