Migrating from Wanadoo BB

I don't know if anyone's been following my saga of trying to get a MAC code from Wanadoo, but I've progressed a step further today!
It's taken several phone calls at 23ppm (confirmed by one of their call workers) and emails to finally get to speak to someone in their cancellations dept and apparently I should now receive it via email within 48 hours
So if anyone else needs to contact cancellations then make sure you do it during the week, as this dept is closed at weekends, and to save some time/money you need option 4, which can be pressed at the start of the recorded message rather than having to listen to it all, and ask to be transferred to someone in cancellations. Don't let them fob you off saying someone will call you back, as they never do, and if they give you some c0ck-n-bull story about the dept having no phones and that they have to send a request via email to the dept then it's all lies!!!! ... insist they put you through.
I also asked about the PAYG option so I could retain my email account and was told that all accounts revert to PAYG on cancellation anyway so hopefully there should be no problem in keeping my email addresses. I think you just have to dial in every 90 days to keep it active.
I'll update you if/when I receive my MAC code
UPDATE: Just received the email containing my MAC code ... in less than 4 hours too, so maybe they took notice of my complaints and threats to report them to Watchdog! ... so have now signed up to EFH
