Good hand warmer
My HTC Wildfire (just recently received) is a teeny bit worrying. When being used for long periods it becomes decidedly warm-ish. Is there a problem here?

most if not all mobiles do the exact same, it is usually because (if you are in a call) the phone is working hard powering the antenna therefore there is a significant effect on the battery which gives out part of the heat, combine that with holding it against your warm head and the cell antenna/motherboard chips giving off heat it is more than enough for you to notice it.
the same is true if you are using it for web browsing, or sending a text all from your hands, to lessen the effect dont grasp the phone as tight, find out where the cell antenna is and specifically dont hold the phone tight (or at all) there (because you are inpeeding the signal and causing the phone to work harder), for making a call you could use a bluetooth headset, also if you are in a poor signal area that also causes the phone to work harder esp on a call therefore using more battery and giving off more heat.0 -
