Not really sure if this would be of help to anyone who has made a cancellation with thier current ISP.
You can use the BT wholesale number - '0800 1690934' to confirm if a cancellation order has been made by your isp and when it should be complete by.
It might just save you some time ringing them rather then your current isp (if its like anything trying to get through to tiscali cancellation dept!).

There is a quicker way if your phone service is still with BT. If you register with BT's website you can check your phone line order status. This will give you the scheduled completion dates of ceases, activations, regrades and the like
This post on ISPreview explains how to access it if you have a home user account http://www.ispreview.co.uk/talk/showpost.php?p=164098&postcount=4
The BT site also provides a detailed break down of calls, and the option of paperless billing which starting early next year will save you 25p a month.0 -
Its actually a 'Tags On Line' number that number, not one to specifically find out when a cancellation of adsl has been requested on the line. Enquiries like that should be directed at the service provider.0
