Best way you found out you're a winner...

My email address ends in .fr and I've had a few fair wins in the last 2 years!

Surely comp drawers can't pick and choose which email address they want to allow to win? Surely which ever one is picked out is the winner? They can't put it back going "nah, i don't like that address"? So why should a different email address make a difference?

I think they mean something about spam settings and perhaps things not getting through? Not sure though

I started comping in Jan. The best way I founf out that I won was in Feb, when a package turned up froom the postman. I had won some massage oil worth about £50, then then next day, I was walking with a friend and said...'I want another win now, that was so exciting.' Then when I got home from my walk had an email saying I had won some concert tickets for that weekend!
So exciting...even now when I get a win, I get excited!!

I haven't won a thing this year! I got a couple of wins when I first started which felt amazing. I've heard the same thing loads of times with people doing well when they just started. Its almost as if the people running the comps have a black list of anyone they think are 'professional' compers. Hopefully thats completely untrue and just a coincidence!

Hopefully my luck is going to improve next year! I just love the feeling of knowing that the phone could ring any day from ITV. Good luck all.

My latest was tonight when I received an email telling me Blackberryuk was following me on Twitter, I clicked through to their page and found I had won a pink Blackberry Curve 8520 + 50ml Perfume + Hand cream :j:j:j:j:j:j
Lovely surprise as if I hadn't checked I wouldn't have known to DM my details.

Definitely when I won a facebook effort competition to post a photo. They were teasing with statuses saying they'd announce the winner at some point that morning so my partner and I just kept refreshing the page. When I saw my name in the status is didn't sink in for a moment! Won an iphone 4 before they'd even been released in the UK.

I googled my name one day and found out I had won a range cooker, the company had updated their website but not bothered to contact any of the winners ....but I did receive a congratulations phonecall a few days later. lol
