Now that I have the songs edited the format is not supposed to be recognised! What have I done wrong this time?

Use a converter program.
There are lots to choose from.

I got it done and left it with his Dad yesterday evening because he was out with his Mum intentionally at a birthday party!

Thank you to everyone who helped! My nephew was showing his new gadgets to me on Christmas day and he was delighted as were his parents! Therefore thank you, you made a 10 year old boy and his auntie very happy! :T
