Is it possible to download from utube and view on ipod?

Can you download a three minute movie/song from utube and view it on an ipod? The ipod was purchased yesterday so I don't know anything about it and I haven't seen it yet. If this is possible how do you do it?

Easy enough to download Firefox and then use the add on.

Download the clip to the MP4 format. Put the video on your ipod via itunes or other programme you use (I use the ace free programme "copy trans manager" rather than itunes to put songs and videos on my ipod classic).

Thank you for all the responses!

The ipod belongs to my nephew and my sister (his Mummy) is giving it to him on Christmas morning so I have to call down some morning as soon as he leaves for school and get all the songs or whatever on it before he gets home again! Fingers crossed with your help there will be a happy boy on Christmas morning! :j

If its an ipod touch it should have a youtube app built in, of course he would need to be able to access wifi for it to work though!

You could get all the music/videos in preparation. Put them on a memory stick and then easy to upload to the Touch on the day.

I must get his Mum to email them all to me and then I will save them to my usb pen and they will be easily transferable then! :j
