ok my list. posting here just now as got shed loads to do as going home to scotland on tuesday need to crack on with as much as possible, if its not on the list its because its not needed which is mainly the christmas prep.

Monday Mayhem..
Make sure you have all the shopping you need to take you through to next week.. milk and bread especially! It is Bank Holiday on Monday so some shops are not open.. the big supermarkets are. have to go to post office and sort out car tax, get cat treats, go to the bank and also top up car with diesel.
Make sure the last of the presents are wrapped I will not have people sitting up while 5am on Christmas morning wrapping!
S&S the kitchen - tuesday morning after breaky
Clean the oven ready for your feast!
Clean the fridge to accommodate you bounty of food
Change any bedding you need to get washed before the fat guy arrives.. and I do not mean the OH/parent/ etc
Catch up on the laundry - half load of whites
Change pet bedding and wash blankies etc.. we don't want them putting you off your christmas sprouts!
Dust round the whole downstairs
do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs

Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!

Children... quick.. tidy your rooms you don't want Santa thinking you don't look after your stuff.. he might not leave any presents!
Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
Mop the kitchen floor!
Get rid of the washing up.. delegation is good!
Declutter your desk.. if it is anything like mine it is full of receipts and invoices!
Wash any soft furnishings in need of freshening up

Wednesday Mayhem..
mop the kitchen

mop the bathroom/s and loo's
Clean the bath and shower and loo!
Catch up on the laundry again.. ironing is tomorrows job! half load of blacks
Vacuum the whole of the upstairs!
wash windows through the whole downstairs if needed (trust me it is :eek:)
do a crazy HHC decluttering downstairs
Thursday ~ Almost done?
dust and deweb everywhere
Binbag dance
Wipe down all the worksurfaces in the kitchen
Wipe all the units and appliances

ok i am so not sleepy! must be wired from all the cans of coke that ive had today, so going to crack on with my list! I can have an early night tomorrow.

Tesco christmas shop sorted for delivery Tuesday 10-12
We have a pacel left at a neighbours.. student house.. and I think they may have gone home for christmas.. and the parcel is likely to be OH's main gift! :eek: .. I am thinking mabe I should contact the letting agents and get them to retrieve it for me.. we also had my main gift from OH left in the wheelie bin out the front on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!! Still several packages to come, Freja's main gift inc.

New car being collected in the morning

clear out car and check tyre pressue, oil and water.
check emergency kit and make sure its fully stocked

ok reading for another HHC at 00:15, just planning what im going to do. aiming for:

living room, hall and landing to be dusted
clean the bath, shower and loo
mop the bathroom floor (flash wipes)
bin bag dance
put all presents and wedding stuff in a pile to take to parents

Evening all

Feel asleep on the sofa for a while so awake now. I've put the DW and WM on and nearly cleared up in the kitchen. Cats are going stir crazy with the snow now - the queen was even chasing her own tail earlier out of boredom, something she never does.

Plan for tomorrow is to walk into town to by some christmas cards for local delivery and for the kids to tidy their rooms.

Bedrooms all to be cleaned by Tuesday night
Kitchen to be done by Wednesday night
bathrooms to be done by Thursday night
living room/family room to be done on Friday.

Plus I'll see what I can do off Piggers list.

Piggers I don't think Toots will be on tonight and I think Asbo is otherwise engaged and Soappie is off line do you still want us to stay off the new thread?
