FedUp - Check out Lush cosmetics they have a full ingredient listing on their website for every thing they sell and steer away from chemicals.
Lamewolf - Hugs to you, take it easy this week babe save your spoons for cuddling Sidney and Mr LW

    Scuse me one moment..

    Aggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ok, and breathe... just spent half an hour digging compacted cat hairs out the pipe on my hoover. Had a good afternoon, made my twinks for tomorrow night, had new fire grate fitted via dad, finished this weeks studying, had a bath, had a nice cooked tea.
Went in to wash up after tea and thought,.. oooh I know I will do the floors before I call it a night will only take ten minutes..
    PAH.. yeah right.
Still hoover is now working a treat as a new bag is in too and half a tonne of cat hair extracted. I was going to sit and do my nails but I cannot be bothered now.

Have also spent £60 on Christmas presents to give to Dad to give to Mum. He does annoy me I asked him end of November if he wanted it doing and he was adamant he would buy it this year. Now he changes his mind.. Typical!!

I got myself a nice electric toothbrush with some of my ebeasty sales and just had a mini krypton factor challenge getting it open and now realised I do not have a shaver plug for it, so I have ordered that too.

I am now going to do nothing other than drink coffee and watch tv..

    Hugs all round

Can anyone tell me a good way to clean the oven please? I did mine using washing up liquid and water in a spray bottle, left it to soak in and wiped after 30 mins but it's not very good. It's meant to be a self-cleaning oven but I've never found this to be the case, best look in the instructions to see how to work it hadn't I.
    QUOTE]

If Im being honest and its that disgustingly bad that its going to take ages scrubbing, I would get an oven cleaner in to do it for you. I got someone in to do mine and it was the best £30odd quid i ever paid. i tried scrubbing with mr muscle and that didnt shift it so paying someone was my last resort and it looked like new afterwards.

The front half of my livingroom is now as decluttered as it can be, half finished pressies & medicines are still hanging around but whatever :D

Cancelled the @sd@ delivery for next week. Lots of treat bits in it and after taking out those, and stuff that could wait until after Xmas it wasn't worth getting the delivery. Especially when I then updated my spreadsheet of expenses and discovered I have £20 left (after bills) until I receive my first lot of JSA (no idea when thats due, all I know is I sign on on Monday :() and the CSA payment for December which could take weeks to arrive :( I took the cash I had and did a basics shop which finished off the things I needed for Xmas dinner and left me with some money to go and get DDs selection box on Saturday (no matter the weather I HAVE to go shopping Saturday, I'm not going shopping next week with DD in tow!) and a few bits like bog roll. ;) No beer for Boxing Day night now when DD has gone away :( I'll survive, I still have some whiskey! Fri : Half day, work for an hour maybe? Will see how I'm feeling ;)

Sun : Chillaxing day I hope :rotfl:

Had a lovely walk with Pip this afternoon - unless you count me catching her wolving down some horse poo and then rolling in a dead frog which had been squished with its innards hanging out - bleugh, filthy little thing

With my BB, it would be the other way round - she'd roll in the horse poo and then wolf down the frog! Dogs eh? Who'd 'ave 'em?

Enjoyed the last Frost episode. I half suspected he would be a gonner, but he wasn't. Still sad though - but also a nice ending...

Off to bed now. I really must start planning Christmas tomorrow and make the most of my time off...

Well I had my patches removed today for the eczema testing while trying not to cough and splutter and generally looking like I had just worken up infront of a paticularly rather handsome Dr - not a good day to sit with your top off while your back is inspected for reactions

I have a reaction to a couple of chemicals at least meaning so far over 95% of my skincare items, shampoo and shower gels etc I cannot use. Feel sad at the stacks of bottles around now going for gifts and on ebay in the new year!

Going to be interesting to see what I can still use
I might be able to help you on this one, as I all ths stuff I use is based on plant ingredients, so no SLS, parebens, mineral oils etc. PM me with what you can't have and I'll point you in the direction of some brands that might suit and places to get them from.

Went to the office today (first time in about 4 months) - christmas lunch and catch up with a few people, a bit of work and then out to a work-related session in London with OH before heading home. Feel grotty again - pleased I have the gp appointment on Friday! Hope to make it through tomorrow with the help of a hot water bottle or six, chocolate and a nice fire in the stove. Any work I get done will be a bonus. I'd like to get some of my christmas baking, a bit more wrapping and some flying done too (particularly the ironing). Oh... and any suggestions for a christmas present for OH would be appreciated. Apparently there is nothing he either needs or wants...

I think I should be heading to bed as I've just noticed the time

I've had a productive night, I have half a dining table now :rotfl: Xmas related stuff is sitting on the other half, but alot of that will be wrapped & moved tomorrow ready for DD to take to school on Friday. *mental note: must write cards for work and take them in* I've also listed a load of stuff on Freeg@l so hopefully that will be gone by the weekend :D I've just put on almost the entire 9-10 wardrobe that DD owned including thick jumpers and winter coats! Hopefully they'll do someone for this cold snap thats coming. ;) She's now in 10-11/11-12 so they've only been waiting a good 6 months minimum :o

    Morning All

So far I've made jellies for my class at school, made sandwiches for dinner and put the WM on. I've only done 24 jellies so I hope that's enough as I've ran out of jelly. There's 28 in the class and I know that at least 1 won't be in and probably another 2 and there's another couple who've been off this week and I'm sure they won't all like jelly. I can hope anyway.

So today I've got the party at school this afternoon followed by a disco after school then I'll either come in and collapse or do some flying although I still haven't been to Mr As (had to call in the Co-op last night) so someone will have to go there.

Okay I'm going to get dressed, then a HHI before work and I'll see where that leaves me.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
