Well I had my patches removed today for the eczema testing while trying not to cough and splutter and generally looking like I had just worken up infront of a paticularly rather handsome Dr - not a good day to sit with your top off while your back is inspected for reactions

I have a reaction to a couple of chemicals at least meaning so far over 95% of my skincare items, shampoo and shower gels etc I cannot use. Feel sad at the stacks of bottles around now going for gifts and on ebay in the new year!

Going to be interesting to see what I can still use

Plus I feel absolutely rubbish - proper bad cough, cold virus roobish again - please go away soon!

No energy to fly or prepare for Christmas.........toodles off to make a honey and lemon then knock self out with night nurse and dream of....nothing

Wednesday - no laughing.. KITCHEN!! ALL DONE
    Level one

    Level Two
    Level Three

    OK, here's my list:
Yet more wrapping once kids in bed
Get DH to finish writing cards so I can send them
Prepare for Christmas signing class tomorrow pm - sort puppets etc

Had a lovely walk with Pip this afternoon - unless you count me catching her wolving down some horse poo and then rolling in a dead frog which had been squished with its innards hanging out - bleugh, filthy little thing

DS not good again - he was much better when he went into nursery but they haven't let him keep sipping his water so his cough is back with a vengeance. He was sick a little bit just now from coughing and is so tired, poor little chap.

I[STRIKE]'m determined to mop the floor but will do it when DH and DD back and keep everyone out of the kitchen for a while for it to dry.[/STRIKE]

Can anyone tell me a good way to clean the oven please? I did mine using washing up liquid and water in a spray bottle, left it to soak in and wiped after 30 mins but it's not very good. It's meant to be a self-cleaning oven but I've never found this to be the case, best look in the instructions to see how to work it hadn't I.

Miss A, hope you're having a fab time watching Status Quo - I remember them very well!

LW, I think you need to take it easy - have an early night and take care of yourself.

    GTG, see you later.

  • Great day for flying today...

    Beds Made
1 load of clothes washed put in dryer folded & put away
1 load of towels washed currently drying
    Bathroom scrubbed including floors
Fridge washed & cleared out (normally i do this on friday my home blessing day but i have a delivery from tesco today)
Kitchen surfaces cleaned 3 times after every meal
All dishes washed (half has been put away other half is just drying from dinner)
    Kitchen floors scrubbed
All surfaces MB, sitting room, hallway, DS room have been wiped down
    Hoovered the house
    Sink empty & cleaned

House is spotless right now so i am very happy & relaxed for once lying down on my bed and using the computer and cant see a thing out of place that makes me want to get up and fix it....tescos will be here in the next 45mins though so will have to put shopping away.. but after cup of tea & biscuits normally dont have a sweet tooth but being sick makes me want chocolate chip biscuits. My mission tomorrow is to try wake up at 8, with having to be up till 4 in the morning with DS last night because he is also sick we didnt wake up till just before 12 highly unusual for me & DS hope i he sleeps well tonight & i havent thrown my sleep pattern off. Much better day today feel better and lots of stress has been lifted from yesterday things are always a lot better in the morning

If it's really bad, I'd second Mr Muscle :) then promise yourself that you'll wipe it over every other week at least, and you'll never need the big guns again :T

    More in this thread.

Kitchen is now tidied, so I'm sitting down doing some admin, and DH and I are comparing diaries to invite some peopleover for food and drinks over the holiday
